Presenting at Plymouth E-Learning Conference 2012

Presented for the Hydrographic Academy today at PELeCON 2012, entitled:
"All hands on deck: Developing technology-enhanced distance learning for the marine industry". We had an excellent turnout with around ~50+ attendees. Coupled with a big load of questions at the end. I was also chairing the session it was a tricky balancing act, but happily managed to stop the questions right on the 30mins, before introducing the next speaker.

The Academy has an usual angle of approach keeping all the electronic materials on a USB stick so the students have access to all the the learning materials they need. The key point we needed to get across was that the internet is limited or non existent through most of their studies. Hence the need for the interface to be 'Offline'.
